"Can't Cry Hard Enough"
A Tribute to the Victims of September 11, 2001
by: Jason Powers

Song Performed By: Victoria Williams
Written By:
David Williams & Marvin Etzioni

I'm gonna live my life...
like every day's the last
Without a simple goodbye,
it all goes by so fast
And now that you're gone,
I can't cry hard enough
No, I can't cry hard enough
For you to hear me now

I'm going to open my eyes
and see for the first time
I've let go of you like
a child letting go of his kite

There it goes, up in the sky
There it goes, beyond the clouds
For no reason why,
I can't cry hard enough
No, I can't cry hard enough
For you to hear me now

I'm going to look back in vain
and see you standing there
With all that remains,
it's just an empty chair
And now that you're gone
I can't cry hard enough
No, I can't cry hard enough
For you to hear me now.

September Morn...

‘Twas one early...
Late Summer Day.
In Early September...
I forgot to say.

Thousands of New Yorkers...
were up and about..
Off to “Their Daily Routines”...
without a doubt.

Many From New Jersey...
Long Island and Up -State..
Where in for a surprise...
They where meeting their fate!

As the day started ,
past eight in the morn...
The Sun was Shinning...
The Twins where Adorned.

The sound of thunder was heard...
but not known...
The #1 Tower , some thought..
Just had Blown!

Some looked out their windows...
and saw so much pain..
They did not know...
it would happen again.!

By the time their senses...
Told them “what was going on”...
There where explosions..
They thought they where bombs...

But then, most saw...
As they ran for their lives...
We were victims of ...
Horrors.. from “another side”!

They Crumbled our City...
Torn down the Twins...
And Many Lives where taken...
Oh, What a Sin!

But God Looked Down..
and Gave us More Strength...
For the Rescuers and helpers
have all been “Heaven Sent”!

He has given us Unity...
Strength.. and Faith
For All fellow Americans...
To “bury all hate”

For we as One can win
Our Freedom and Rights...
We Are Americans..
For this Privilege...We’ll Fight!

"I have a dream
that one day this nation will rise up
and live out the true meaning of its creed:
'We hold these truths to be self-evident
that all men are created equal'".
-Martin Luther King Jr-

We will always remember.
We will always be proud.
We will always be prepared,
so we may always be free.
-Ronald Reagan-

It has now been SIX (6) years since the unthinkable happened...
yet... it continues to still effect us every hour of every day.
I lost many co-workers/friends that day- thank GOD no immediate family!
But... how about those that lost a son, a daughter, any loved one?
How about the lives we are STILL loosing?

USA's Bombings - Madrid's Bombings - London's Bombing
etc. etc. etc... it never stops!

There are terrorist acts commited every day!
It is truthfully a devasting memory for all!

Yet life continues... and we must keep going...
But Never Forgetting Those That where Sacrificed On The Way!

Truely God has a plan - and we must trust in that knowledge.

May we someday be able to overcome these tragedies...
Until then... have faith, and pray for universal peace!
